Kasauli
A pine-scented colonial village, an easy hop from Chandigarh.
Kasauli is small enough to walk end to end: a Lower Mall of old bungalows, Christ Church from 1844, and Monkey Point's view across the plains. It's the easiest mountain weekend from Chandigarh and doable from Delhi.
