McLeodganj & Triund
A Tibetan hill town and India's favourite first overnight trek.
McLeodganj sits above Dharamshala with prayer flags, momo cafés and the Dalai Lama's temple. The Triund ridge is a 9 km climb through oak and rhododendron to a meadow facing the snow wall of the Dhauladhars — doable in a day, magical with a night in a tent.
